Found an unknown part in a lot, old build, or parts bin? Post an overall photo plus close-ups from several angles. Include every molded number, engraving, logo, label, and package marking you can find.
Measurements that help:
- Overall length, width, and height
- Hole spacing and screw size
- Shaft, bearing, wheel-hex, or bore diameter
- Gear tooth count and pitch or module
- Connector type and wire count
- The model or other parts it was found with
A ruler or caliper in the photo makes visual comparisons much more reliable.
